We are staying at the Stellenbosch hotel and after a short stroll in the village, we decided to stay and dine at the restaurant. That was an excellent choice. We had a warm reception by our waiter, George, and throughout the night we had the best service possible. Started with the mushroom risotto and the prawn tempura as starters, followed by the lamb shanks and the Mediterranean linguini. Food was divine. My fav was the risotto which was cooked to perfection, while my husband really enjoyed the seafood dish. Food came fast, presentation was great and taste was superb. We ended the evening with the lava cake with vanilla ice cream dessert which we found a bit too sweet for our taste but presentation was spot on. We made an excellent choice pairing the food with a bottle of Muratie Alberta red wine which we liked so much that we will visit the winery.
Overall, highly recommend the place and compliments to our great waiter George who went the extra mile in helping us with the wine and desserts and being always there for us. Thank you.
